Fired up instantly with the electric start—no kicking needed. The Zongshen engine is solid and powerful on trails. Brakes stop confidently, even downhill. Came mostly assembled; had it ready in under an hour. Great value with extras included. Perfect size for shorter riders. Customer support was quick and helpful. Looks awesome, feels sturdy, and my teen loves it!
It's actually a pretty good budget dirtbike for the price. I already have 400 miles on mine. I have had no issues other than the kickstand spring falling off. Which was my fault. Overall great bike.
My kid LOVES IT so much. He loves riding with his buddies. So far, the bike works great and has been a great purchase!

65 mph top speed, with up to ~155 miles per 1.4-gallon tank. Real-world speed depends on rider weight, terrain, and gearing.
What engine and power does the FX140 have?
A 140cc 4-stroke oil-cooled engine making 11.0 hp (8.2 kW) @ 7,500 rpm and 10.2 N·m of torque @ 6,000 rpm, with electric and kick start and hydraulic disc brakes front and rear.
FX125 vs FX140 — which should I choose?
In the 17/14 build they share a chassis: same 33.9″ seat, same 49.2″ wheelbase, same 265 lb load rating. The difference is the engine. The FX140 is oil-cooled, makes 11.0 hp and 10.2 N·m against the FX125's 8.7 hp and 8.8 N·m, and is rated to climb 30° versus 28°. Oil cooling is what holds that power up on long climbs, hot days, and hour-long sessions, where an air-cooled engine starts to fade. For short sessions in the yard, cooler weather, or a lighter rider, the FX125 is enough.
How tall is the FX140 — what's the seat height?
Seat height is 33.9″ on a 49.2″ wheelbase, with 17″ front / 14″ rear wheels — the same seat height as the FX125 in its 17/14 build.
Who is the FX140 for, and what age?
Teens and adults — bigger or more experienced riders, up to a 265 lb max load. If you're new to off-road, start on a smaller bike like the FX125 or FX40 first.
What is the weight limit on the FX140 — how much weight can it hold?
The FX140 supports a 265 lb maximum rider load. The bike itself weighs about 170.9 lb.
Is the FX140 a pit bike or a dirt bike?
Both names get used — it's a full off-road dirt bike, often called a 140 pit bike. It runs an oil-cooled 140cc engine with a 4-speed manual transmission.
Is the 4-speed manual hard to ride?
It's a 4-speed manual with a clutch. It's a new skill if you're coming off a no-clutch bike like the FX40, but most riders pick up the basics in an afternoon on flat ground.
Can I ride the FX140 on the street?
No. It's EPA off-road only — built for trails, private property, farms, and open land. It is not street legal.
Is the FX140 available in California?
No — the FX140 is not sold or shipped to California (Prop 65).
What brakes, suspension, and starting does the FX140 have?
Hydraulic disc brakes front and rear, long-travel suspension, and electric start with a kick-start backup. It runs on regular gas with no oil mixing.
How much assembly does the FX140 need?
It ships mostly built — about 30–45 minutes with the included tools. Setup videos are in Service Videos & Tutorials.
How does the FX140 ship, and what's the warranty?
A 1-year limited warranty. It ships within 72 hours via LTL freight. Freight delivery is curbside and the carrier calls to schedule an appointment, so give a valid phone number and email — plan on help getting the crate off the curb. Not shipped to California (Prop 65), U.S. protectorates, APO/FPO, or overseas. The box includes the First Ride Kit: gloves, goggles, anti-fog spray, backpack, hydration bladder, tools, and the manual.
