How to choose
Speed ceiling, not age

Both quads carry the same 6–12 age range, so age alone will not separate them. What separates them is the ceiling. The FA40-NEO stops at 13 mph. The Sahara 40 goes to 18 mph and adds a rear disc brake to haul it down. A six-year-old on a first ride does not need the extra 5 mph — but a nine-year-old who already outgrew a pedal bike will find 13 mph slow inside one season. Both have an adjustable limiter, so either starts slow. The difference is where they end up once the limiter comes off.

Why an FRP quad
Built around what parents ask

4-stroke — no oil mixing

Both quads run straight pump gas. There is no two-stroke ratio to measure, nothing to get wrong at the pump, and no smoke. On a machine ridden in the backyard a few times a week, that removes the most common way a first season goes badly.

The parent keeps the ceiling

Every FRP quad ships with an adjustable speed limiter and a tether kill switch. Start at walking pace on day one and open it up as the rider earns it — the same quad grows through the whole learning curve.

Parts stocked by system

Sahara 40 replacement parts are stocked by system — brakes, drivetrain, suspension, body, powertrain. A snapped brake cable or a worn sprocket is a single part order, not a new quad. See Sahara 40 parts or the warranty and owner support terms.
