Neither roller kit is a running mini bike. Both need an engine, a clutch or torque converter and a #420 chain before they ride. I want a complete mini bike instead

Why builders start here
Spend less time matching parts

Fewer parts to match

Key chassis and brake hardware is already fitted, so the build starts at assembly instead of at sourcing. Check each kit for its exact contents.

Predator 212 ready

Both platforms take the Honda GX-clone mounting pattern used by the Predator 212 — the engine most mini bike builds are planned around.

Hydraulic braking included

The GMB100 ships with a hydraulic disc brake fitted. The RMB Rebel runs a dual-piston rear caliper on a 180 mm stainless rotor.

Questions builders actually ask

Roller kit basics

What exactly comes in the box with a "90% pre-assembled roller kit"?

You receive a rolling chassis. On the RMB Rebel that is the welded steel frame, 1-inch carbon steel fork, front 3.00-8 and rear 11x7.10-5 semi-slick wheels with tires fitted, a dual-piston rear hydraulic brake with a 180 mm stainless rotor, a 420-pitch 41T rear sprocket, seat, bars, grips, kill switch and the pre-fitted steering stabilizer. Axles and chain tensioners are pre-aligned. The engine, clutch or torque converter and chain are not included.

What extra parts do I need to buy to make this a fully running bike?

To get on the track or trail you only need to supply: 1) a compatible engine, for example a Predator 212cc; 2) a drive system — a 3/4" centrifugal clutch or a torque converter, depending on your build; 3) a #420 drive chain; 4) a throttle assembly and cable to match that engine. Seat, bars, grips and the kill switch are already fitted on the roller.

Are these complete, ready-to-ride mini bikes?

No. Both are rolling chassis built for a project. If you want a running bike out of the crate instead, shop the complete mini bike collection.

Engine & drivetrain

Do I need to weld or drill holes to fit a Predator 212 engine?

No welding or drilling is required. Both frames use a slotted engine mount base plate, so any standard small block clone — Predator 212, Tillotson 212, Honda GX160/GX200, Titan TX200 and 196–224cc clones with a 3/4 inch shaft — bolts straight down with no frame modifications. Briggs Animal engines use a different pattern and need an adapter plate. The GMB100 frame is rated for 99cc to 212cc engines.

Does the RMB Rebel drag frame fit a torque converter (TAV)?

The RMB Rebel is optimized for lightweight track setups running a racing clutch and chain. To run an asymmetrical torque converter such as a 30 Series TAV you may need a small engine riser plate, or minor backing plate trimming, to clear the ultra-low-profile rear cross tubes. For trail riding with a torque converter, the GMB100 gives you the most out-of-the-box clearance.

Can these frames be converted into high-power electric mini bikes?

Yes. The open, flat-bottom engine bay on both the RMB Rebel and the GMB100 makes them popular platforms for custom electric conversions. They accommodate mid-drive motors such as QS138 or CYC setups, alongside custom-fabricated 72V lithium battery boxes.
