Is the FA40-NEO street legal, and is it available in California?
The FA40-NEO is EPA off-road only and not street legal. It must not be ridden on public roads, sidewalks, bike lanes or any other public right-of-way. Gas models are not available in California.
Where can my child legally ride the FA40-NEO?
On private property you own, or property where you have the owner's permission, or at a designated off-road riding area. Never on public roads or shared paths. Off-road vehicle rules vary by state and locality — confirm yours before the first ride.
What age and size is the FA40-NEO for?
Built for riders ages 6+. The hard limit is the 143 lb maximum rider load — use that rather than age alone. Top speed is 13 mph with an adjustable limiter parents can dial down for a new rider.
What safety gear does my child need?
A properly fitted helmet, eye protection, gloves, long sleeves, long pants and over-the-ankle boots. An adult must supervise young riders at all times.
