Feel Spring on the Ride — FRP Mini Bikes, Family Trails, and Stackable March Savings

February 27, 2026

Winter is done. The trails are drying out, Spring Break is right around the corner, and the only thing standing between your family and the best riding season of the year is pulling the trigger on the right bike. From February 27th through March 23rd, FRP Moto is running our "Feel Spring on the Ride" event — with real savings on four featured models. Every bike in the lineup carries its own discount, and if you're buying more than one, each one keeps its deal. Pick up two bikes for the kids, and both discounts apply, no strings attached.

Not sure which mini bike is right for your crew? We broke it down by rider, by terrain, and by budget. Read on — then go grab your deal before March 23rd.

Why Spring is Prime Time for Mini Bike Riders

Spring hits a sweet spot that no other season can match. The summer heat hasn't set in yet, so you can run longer sessions without riders overheating. The ground is still packed from winter, giving your tires solid traction before the July dust sets in. And with Spring Break coming up fast, there's actually time on the calendar to get the whole family out together.

For parents looking to get their kids off screens and into the fresh air, there's no better window. A kids dirt bike session on a flat backyard loop teaches balance, focus, and basic mechanical awareness — all while your kids think they're just having a blast. That's a parenting win any way you look at it.

The Spring Four: Find Your Match

We handpicked four models for this event. Each one hits a different sweet spot — whether you're after a first-time mini bike for kids, a trail-ready machine, or something the whole family can share.

1. GMB100 — The Reliable Starter

The GMB100 is where most FRP families start — and a lot of them never feel the need to upgrade. Its 99cc 4-stroke engine runs clean, never needs an oil-gas mix, and is forgiving enough for a first-time rider while still being fun for adults. At a 220 lbs weight capacity, it genuinely works as a mini bike for kids in the morning and a mini bike for adults after lunch.

Best for: Families buying their first gas mini bike, backyard loops, neighborhood parks, and Spring Break weekend rides.

2. GMB100P — The Trail-Ready Upgrade

Everything the GMB100 does, the GMB100P does on rougher ground. The upgraded hydraulic brake system gives you real stopping confidence on wet, post-rain trails — the kind of conditions that are everywhere in spring. Add aggressive off-road tires and front suspension, and you've got a machine that's genuinely built for dirt rather than just tolerating it.

Best for: Riders who want to go beyond the backyard — OHV parks, forest paths, and anywhere the pavement ends.

3. FX40 — The Junior Step-Up

When your kid has outgrown the "beginner" stage and wants something with a bit more edge, the FX40 is the answer. Full suspension (front and rear), dual disc brakes, and a sportier mini dirt bike stance give it a legitimate performance feel without throwing them in the deep end. The built-in safety kill switch and chain guard mean parents can hand over the keys with confidence.

Best for: Confident young riders aged 8–14 who are ready to push their skills further — mini tracks, jump lines, and Spring Break race days with friends.

4. MB40 — The Go-Anywhere Compact

The MB40 is built around one idea: take it anywhere. Its low curb weight means you can toss it in the back of a truck or SUV without a trailer. The low center of gravity makes it unusually stable for beginners, and the tough mini bike frame handles the bumps that come with camping trips and gravel roads. If your spring plans involve a road trip, an RV, or any destination that isn't your backyard, the MB40 is the bike to bring.

Best for: Camping trips, road trips, first-time riders who want something approachable, and anyone tight on storage space.

Spring Sale Pricing: Every Bike, Every Order

Here's exactly what's on the table from February 27th through March 23rd:

· GMB100P — $40 off

These prices are only available through March 23rd. Once the event finishes, regular pricing returns.

FAQ

When does the Feel Spring on the Ride sale end?

The event runs from February 27th to March 23rd, 2026. All stackable discounts expire at the end of March 23rd — no extensions.

How do the discounts work?

Each of the four sale models has its own set discount: $40 off the GMB100 and GMB100P, and $30 off the FX40 and MB40. If you add more than one bike to your cart, each bike keeps its own discount — they don't cancel each other out. Buy a GMB100 and an MB40 together, and you save $70 at checkout.

Which mini bike is best for a beginner kid?

For children aged 5–8 who have never ridden before, the GMB100 is the safest starting point — automatic engine, low seat height, and a manageable power output. For kids 8–14 who have some experience and want more performance, look at the GMB100P.

What's the difference between the GMB100 and the GMB100P?

The GMB100P adds hydraulic brakes, off-road tires, and front suspension over the standard GMB100. If you plan to ride exclusively on flat, paved, or groomed surfaces, the GMB100 is all you need. If you want to hit real trails — dirt paths, OHV parks, post-rain terrain — the GMB100P's upgrades are worth it.

Is the MB40 suitable for adults?

The MB40 is primarily designed for younger or lighter riders. For adult riders, the GMB100 or GMB100P offers higher weight capacity and is a better fit.
