Which fat tire mini bike fits your ride?

Want to ride without building a bike? Start here. The GMB100 lets you choose its tread when you order; the GMB100P is set up for rougher ground; the M3 is electric.

Model comparison

GMB100 vs GMB100P vs M3

Pick the setup you want from day one. Choosing a different tread on the GMB100 does not add the GMB100P's fork and brakes.

Model Power and tires Factory equipment Choose it when
GMB100 99cc-class gas; SunF Knobby or Smooth Tread option Rigid front end; rear disc brake You want to choose your tread and do not need a suspension fork.
GMB100P 99cc gas; all-terrain tires Front suspension fork; hydraulic disc brakes You ride bumpier ground and want the fork and brakes fitted at the factory.
M3 Electric Electric drive; wide tubeless tires Front suspension; front and rear hydraulic disc brakes You want electric power and the M3's braking and suspension setup.

Thinking of buying a GMB100 and adding a fork and hydraulic brakes right away? Compare the parts and installation cost with a GMB100P first. The P already comes with that equipment.

We checked the linked FRP product listings on November 6, 2026. Prices, stock and selected options can change, so confirm them on the product page. This comparison uses listed equipment, not results from a side-by-side ride test. You can also read FRP owner reviews.

Owner feedback

What owners say after buying

Specs tell you what comes on the bike. These verified-purchase comments from FRP's review page tell you what two owners noticed after delivery.

"Easy to assemble. Runs perfect. No issues so far."
Christopher Lee, GMB100 owner
"The shocks make this the best mini bike we've owned."
Heather M., GMB100P owner

Some gas-bike owners on the same page also mention carburetor and idle adjustments. Read the full reviews for both the good and the frustrating parts; these two comments do not describe the M3.

Start with your bike

Buying a bike or replacing a tire?

These are two different purchases. Choose the tires on the GMB100 bike page if you want a complete bike. Use the SunF tire pages below when you already have a wheel and need a replacement tire.

Ordering a GMB100?

Choose SunF Knobby or Smooth Tread on the complete-bike page. You do not need to add a separate tire to get that option.

Replacing a GMB100 tire?

Both FRP x SunF tire pages list the GMB100, GMB100U and GMB100 frame as compatible. They sell tires without rims, in Single or 2 Pack options.

Own a GMB100P or M3?

Those models are not named on these replacement tire listings. Send FRP Support your bike model and photos of the old tire and wheel before ordering.

Replacement tires

Where do you ride most?

Once you have checked the fit for your bike, choose the tread for your usual ground. These FRP x SunF 145/70-6 tires are sold separately from the bikes; neither listing includes a rim.

FRP x SunF all-terrain mini bike tire with deep knobby tread

Loose dirt and gravel

Ride mostly on loose dirt, gravel or uneven trails? Start with the all-terrain tire. Its larger tread blocks and shoulder lugs are made for that kind of ground. Check fit for your wheel before you buy.

FRP x SunF 145/70-6 mini bike street tire with directional tread

Firm dirt and paved paths

Spend more time on hardpack or paved paths where your mini bike is allowed? The Street Tire's lower-profile tread is made for firmer surfaces, not loose mud. Street tread does not make the bike road legal.

Buying a new GMB100 with smooth tires? Select Smooth Tread on the bike page. Add this separate Street Tire only if you also want a replacement.

Before checkout

Will this replacement tire fit your bike?

A matching size is a good start, but it is not the whole answer. Check the bike and wheel you own before you order:

  1. Read your old tire. Look for 145/70-6 on its sidewall. If it shows another size, do not order these tires just because the photo looks close.
  2. Check the wheel setup. Both SunF listings describe tubeless tires, but your wheel and manual determine how a replacement must be mounted. Check whether your wheel uses a tube.
  3. Check space and limits. Make sure the tire clears the fork, fender, chain and brake. Follow the load and pressure guidance for your exact bike and tire.
  4. Check the pack. Choose Single or 2 Pack. These listings are for loose tires; neither includes a rim or mounted wheel.

What does 145/70-6 mean?

It is a tire size, like a shoe size. The 145 is nominal width in millimeters, 70 describes the sidewall height relative to that width, and 6 is the rim diameter in inches. It does not tell you the tread, whether your wheel needs a tube, or what comes in the box.

Still unsure? Contact FRP Support with your bike model and clear photos of the tire marking and wheel, especially if you own a GMB100P, M3 or another brand.

Red FRP GMB100 mini bike frame for a custom engine build

Build your own

Want to choose the engine yourself?

Have an engine build in mind? The GMB100 frame gives you a starting point, but it is not a rideable bike on its own. You still need to choose and fit the engine, drivetrain and brakes, then check wheel and chain clearance.

Want to ride without planning those parts? Start with a complete GMB100 or GMB100P instead.

Buying questions

Before you choose

Will these SunF tires fit my GMB100P or M3?

The current all-terrain and street tire pages list the GMB100, GMB100U and GMB100 frame, but do not name the GMB100P or M3. Ask FRP Support to check your exact wheel before ordering.

What is the difference between GMB100 and GMB100P?

Both are complete gas mini bikes. Choose the GMB100 if you want to pick Knobby or Smooth Tread and do not need front suspension. Choose the GMB100P if you want front suspension, hydraulic disc brakes and all-terrain tires already fitted.

Can adults ride these bikes?

FRP lists the GMB100 and GMB100P for riders up to 220 lb, and the M3 for up to 210 lb. Check each bike's current product page for rider fit and limits before ordering.

Are fat tire mini bikes always electric?

No. The GMB100 and GMB100P run on gas. The M3 is electric.

Do the replacement tires come with a rim?

No. The SunF tire pages offer Single and 2 Pack choices, and their box contents say the rim is not included. If you need a complete wheel, these are not that purchase.

Can I buy a complete GMB100 with smooth tires?

Yes. Choose Smooth Tread under Tires on the GMB100 product page, then select your color and pack. That is a complete-bike option; the separate SunF Street Tire is a replacement product.

Can I ride on public roads with street tires?

No. Street describes the tire's tread, not a road registration. These mini bikes are intended for off-road use; ride only where your vehicle is permitted.

Should I buy a complete bike or the GMB100 frame?

Choose a complete bike if you want the engine and drivetrain included. Choose the GMB100 frame if you plan to select and assemble those parts yourself. The frame price is not the cost of a finished bike.
